GREENWOOD CRAFT CLASSES - 2023 / 2024
I'm Steve and I'm a very experienced greenwoodworker, with 20 years’ experience of teaching all ages and experience levels.
I can offer one day classes in the following:
- Beginners Pole-Lathe Turning = Learn how to make - rolling pins, dibbers, carving mallets, rounders bats or stool legs
- Spoon Carving - Beginners = Learn how to carve a cooking spoon
- Spoon Carving - Intermediate or Advanced = Learn how to make other forms of spoons such as: Servers, Scoops and Ladles
- Learn how to make a Shrink Pot = Learn to make these traditional storage canisters
- Learn how to make a Peg Board = Learn how to make these traditional style of coat hooks
- Peg Making Day = Learn how to make both traditional Romany 'Gypsy' cloths pegs and Branch Coat Pegs
- Make a Three Legged Stool = Learn how to make a 3 legged Foot stool or Milking stool
Classes are run from my greenwoodworking space* near Milford in Surrey.
The day runs from 10-4, all tools and materials are includes as are refreshments & snacks, bring your own lunch.
Class Fees are £80 per person

*Whilst the workspace is undercover and out of the wind and rain, it is an unheated haybarn. So you need to be wearing 'outdoor clothing' and bring extra layers just in case...
