Hi I'm Steve
I'm a lifelong woodworker starting off with my Dad who was a carpenter and joiner, he made me my first toolbox when I was 5 and I haven't stopped since. Along the way I've worked as a freelance Modelmaker and Propmaker (for 10 years) followed by 20 years of teaching Product Design. So I have a very broad skillset but at the core of it all is my love of MAKING.
I started making spoons about 15 years ago and since then have developed a real love for greenwood working of all sorts. Most recently has been making Stave Baskets, which is a critically endangers craft - so I feel great that I am keeping them going, even if only in a small way!
But spoons are my passion and what I always come back to...
